Keynote on entrepreneurship and innovation in the creative economy
TASO partners Antonio Ruiz and Miguel Rivas were invited as keynote speakers at the RYME project´s final event that took place in Madrid last October 2014. Antonio was focused on inter-firm cooperation while Miguel´ speech was about entrepreneurship and innovation in the creative economy. RYME project is about SMEs internationalization, and has been carried out by renowned Instituto Pedro Nunes (PT) as lead partner, Agence pour la Valorisation de la Recherche Universitaire du Limousin (FR) and Centro Europeo de Empresas e Innovación de Murcia (ES), along with five associated partners including the Illinois Institute of Technology (USA) and Parque Tecnológico da Paraíba in Brazil. It was funded by the EU programme Interreg IVB-Sudoe.
TASO´s contribution was organized around four key messages, namely: promoting local creative ecosystems; space matters! the new workplace for the creative entrepreneur; cross-innovation and creative spillovers; and talent attraction & retention as new working area.
