TASO at the OPEN DAYS 2016
We were in Brussels contributing to the workshop Building Capacity for Smart Specialisation in Urban Areas, organized by the S3 Platform of the European Commission.
The European Week of Regions and Cities, which is known as the Open Days, is a major forum for exchanging and discussing projects and issues related to regional and local development. Organised in Brussels by the European Committee of the Regions and the Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy, the event gathers thousands of local, regional, national and European decision-makers and experts. The 2016 edition of the Open Days consisted of more than 100 workshops, debates and networking.
Prior to the Open Days, in September 2016, we were contributing to the First SMARTER Conference on Smart Specialisation and Territorial Development that took place in Sevilla, our home base. It is was a really fruitful event organized by the Regional Studies Association together with the S3 Platform of the European Commission.
