Project structuring in renewable energies
Grupo TASO has a track record in structuring renewable energy projects, particularly photovoltaic power plants in Spain. In this respect, it is worth highlighting the photovoltaic complex in Mula (Murcia), for which we began the structuring process in 2011 and has led to one of the largest photovoltaic power plants in Europe today, with 1,088 ha and 493 MW peak capacity. Since 2019, the plant is connected to the national electricity grid.
On this issue, our work covers initial business plan and development, permitting, fundraising, and operationalisation and exploitation plan. The photovoltaic plant of Mula has involved the Spain-headquartered global leader Cobra (ACS) as main contractor and developer and the Canadian investment fund Norhtleaf Capital Partners as current main investor. In this major project, we worked hand in hand with Politec, a local engineering firm specialised in renewables.
