Old Tobacco Factory Alicante

Grupo TASO in collaboration with BORNEO are supporting the strategic development of the former tobacco factory in Alicante. It´s a major repurposing project that will equip the Mediterranean capital with 16,000m2 devoted to Art, Culture, Innovation and Community Services.

Leveraged upon the existing master plan and initiatives like Cigarreras Cultural Centre and the announced space for large exhibitions, our work aims to bring greater cohesion to the whole and more detailed direction on activity model, branding and communication, and governance and management issues. The new facility must primarily serve the local population needs, in terms of new accessibility to culture and that of the local community of artists, creatives and innovators. This can be also an opportunity to target the thousands of visitors who may want to experience the city differently.

Grupo TASO, en colaboración con BORNEO, está apoyando el desarrollo estratégico de la antigua Fábrica de Tabacos de Alicante. Un proyecto-emblema de refuncionalización del patrimonio que activará 16.000 m² para la cultura, el arte, la innovación y nuevos servicios a la ciudadanía. Sobre la base del plan director existente y de iniciativas como el Centro Cultural Las Cigarreras y el anunciado espacio para grandes exposiciones, nuestro trabajo tiene como objetivo aportar una mayor cohesión al conjunto y un direccionamiento más detallado en ámbitos como modelo de actividad, modelo de gestion, y branding y comunicación entre otros.
